waiting on a ride

ok- so it is spring I hear, somewhere, but not so much in washington.  My horse and his muse sit in the barn, disgusted looks on their faces because I, the groomer, will not let them out into the sacrifice area to play, in the mud.  Boo-hoo – bad horse mommie.  Yes, here we are in May, the boys should be munching on the lawn, wandering the grounds, out of their blankies, yet they are still tucked in their stalls and covered paddocks.  They do not get to vote !  Another rainy day, another day of catch up grooming and saddle cleaning.  Ah, for my friends with covered arenas, the joy of riding your ponies.  Even getting the lounge line out would be appreciated by all of us about now.  Well, back to the brush, spring brings sessions of never ending flying hair, where does it all come from, I blanket yet still the hair, the hair, the old dead hair.  Good thing I do not have allergies ~~~ enjoy your ride if you live somewhere else~~ hope to join you sometime this summer ~~~
